Sve je pocelo mesec pre WSM 2021,trening je bio dobar,ali poceli su ga muciti kukovi,rame,leda.Svakim treningom je bivalo sve gore i gore.Na WSM se takmicio pod bolovima.Pokidao je oba kuka( labrum) i nije mogao da uradi cucanj ni mrtvo,isto kao ni potisak zbog bola u ramenu.Sledece nedelje ide na rehab i jedva ceka da se vrati takmicenju.Povratak planira vec na Shaw Classic koji ce biti krajem avgusta,pa posle na Rogue Invitational krajem oktobra.

Bio je na pregledu kukova.Sledece nedelje ide na pregled ramena.Uh,za one koji ne vole igle ovo je dosta neprijatno za gledanje,jer je doktorica zabila iglu iznad zadnjice skroz do kosti i posle jos udarala cekicem da ude sto dublje.Na kraju filma Jerryeva doktorka objasnjava sta su zapravo uradili.Uopsteno zvuci ovako:sa zdravog mesta je izvlacila maticne celije da bi ubrizgavala na mesto gde Jerry ima povredu kako bi to sto pre se oporavilo.

Poceo je lagane pripreme za Shaw Classic.On je radio samo vezbe gde kukovi nisu toliko optereceni,ali sin mu je radio dosta ozbiljno, povlacenje konopca na cekrk,posle toga je nosio dzak i bure i prebacio preko yokea pa je nosio okvir.Posle je nosio super yoke tezak 350 funti,pa su presli u teretanu i radili dopunske vezbe.
