Interesantno je da je u svoj trening kod deadlifta ukljucio i gume(steznike) sto mu dodatno otezava ovaj lift,samim tim i daje dodatno opterecenje za misice.

Da,stvarno je ogroman(2m i 200kg!!!),i mojih 130kg(184cm visina) pored njega izgledalo je kao da imam 13kg!!!Strasno!Ali sto mi se dopalo i kod njega da je vrlo komunikativan i pravi profesionalac!!!

I ovaj film je dokaz toga da za vrhunske rezultate ne trebaju nabudzane teretane,nego je sasvim dovoljna cvrsta volja za treningom i uspehom,nekoliko osnovnih sprava,par kg tegova i to je to!!!
Secam se kad se Ervin spremao za AC u jednoj njegovoj sobi smo vezbali jer tamo nije bilo toliko hladno kao napolju(jer se radilo o januaru ili februaru),ali ipak se radilo!Za njega ne predstoji prepreka!Drugi bi mozda pomislio ili rekao:a napolju je hladno ili ja nemam uslove za trening,ali ne i Ervin!!!

Naravno, volja za napretkom razdvaja uspješne sportiste od neuspješnih.

Da,ali mnogi ljudi ce pre otici u neku nabudzanu teretanu misleci da je to kljuc uspeha, i u stvari nisu svesni da ih teretana ne cini sampionima i uspesnima nego oni sami!!!

Ti veliki ljudi su puni kontradiktornosti, a mozda i nisu koliko je veliko iznenadjenje jer imamo valjda suvishe predrasuda prema njima :)

Trening Terryja Hollandsa:
Went event training. Decided we would do a kind of strongman Crossfit hybrid which was inspired by a contest being put on by mike Jenkins (USA wsm competitor and 2012 Arnold's winner) it's kind of aimed at the big strong Crossfit guys and the fitter strongmen. This appeals to me quite a lot at the minute as I'm trying to I prove my conditioning.

Since wsm last year because I have been injured I have been aiming more at dropping some excess doing more fitness work and cleaning up my act a bit. It's quite well known in strongman circles I am my own worst enemy sometimes with regard to my lifestyle. I have been a heavy smoker in the past and also like to party a way too much, this all needed to be remedied. I've been pretty much off smoking (had the odd slip up) and only had a couple of nights out in a good few months, I feel like it's finally starting to pay off. I dropped under 26 stone (albeit by 1lb) for the first time in 8 years and feel much better for all the changes I have made. I suffer with VERY bad sleep apnoea and it has been greatly improved recently which has made a big difference to how I feel. I need to find an extra 5% from somewhere and hopefully all the changes to my diet and life will help give me that. I have a few more things I wanna include in my training over the next few weeks, I'm getting some Olympic lifting coaching off a very good coach, gonna get up to genesis in wembley to get some squat coaching off dave 'bulldog' Beattie and also do some extra conditioning work to help me reach my goal of 25 stone by bodypower.
All in all I'm very happy with the progress I'm making and it's nice to be training for fun rather than chasing numbers all the time. I will definitely be back to strongman at some point but it will be when I'm sure I can really commit to it in the way it needs. Strongman is not a sport you can play with or do by halves and I'm lucky to have got as far as I have with my lack of dedication in certain aspects of it, im very lucky to have been blessed with good genetics for it. I have always been someone that trains very hard and am very meticulous when it comes to training my events exactly as they need to be but when it comes to my life away from the gym and contests I don't do everything right. I know that when I return it will be with every base covered not just most of them.

So had a little play with the deadlift used Saturday at south of England qualifier for uks this was 430kg. Definitely had no speed off the floor but putting that down to being tired from loading for 15 hours Saturday. Still, 3 weeks till europes and if I can pull 430 when shattered I can't complain.

Teri se punom parom priprema da postavi novi svetski rekord u deadliftu u masters kategoriji i mislim da je na dobrom putu.Na ovom snimku ga mozemo videti kako radi laganu dvojku na 400kg....uzimavsi u obzir da se Teri odavno nije takmicio ili trenirao sa velikim tezinama,nego se jedno vreme pripremao za bodi bilding takmicenje gde je i nastupio mislim da je ovo jako velika stvar i da ce biti spreman za jos vece tezine samo da ne zuri da se ne bi slucajno povredio!!!!

Terry Hollands i Mikhail Shyvljakov su se u subotu takmicili ko ce da srusi svetski masters rekord u mrtvom dizanju koji iznosi 430kg.Nijedan nije uspeo Terry je isao u trecem pokusaju na 435kg a Misha 436.Ipak je rus pobedio sa drugim pokusajem gde je podigao 421kg a Terry 420kg....Zasto nisu isli 431kg nije mi jasno.... >:( >:( >:(

Samo da kazem da je Shyvljakovu malo falilo,digao je teg iznad kolena koja su mu se tresla kao da ga je struja udarila i cim je izdahnuo vazduh i teg je pao.Steta,jer ga je ezplozivno digao do kolena,"samo" mu je trebalo da ubaci kolena ispod sipke,posto je to u strongmanu dozvoljeno....naravno lako je biti pametan iz stolice,treba biti tamo i dici.
Sto se Terrija tice nije bio ni blizu,ni pomerio ga nije sa poda.
Moje misljenje je da je Misha imao tu tezinu. ;)

Hvala Miki, pa video sam da nije ni odlepio teg mada meni je delovao jako iscrpljen i pre samog dizanja, uopšte nije izgledao sveže i koncentrisano. Možda grešim ali to je neki moj utisak.

Da,pogotovo kod prvog pokusaja,kada je dizao 400kg.U drugom pokusaju 420 je poletelo i onda je sigurno pomislio da moze 435kg....steta....neki drugi put.Dosta je iskusan takmicar,trebalo je da zna kako da bude odmoran,skoncentrisan...nije mu ovo prvo takmicenje. ;)

Nazalost se Terry povredio tokom prve discipline i povreda je toliko ozbiljna da Terry nije u stanju da nastavi sa takmicenjem,ustvari probao je drugu disciplinu ali nije mogao nista da uradi zbog bolova.Terryju je ovo bio petnaesto WSM takmicenje,jedan od retkih koji je tako dugo trajao u ovom sportu.On sam kaze da ga sad ocekuje odmor i rehab i neke male izmene u zivotu kao i neke velike izmene ali nije hteo da oda kakve ce to biti promene.Ono sto je sigurno da mu je ovo bilo poslednje WSM takmicenje kao takmicar.

Terry Hollands je nagraden na ovogodisnjem WSM takmicenju za doprinos u strongman sportu.Uopste me nije cudila ova nagrada,ni to zasto bas njemu,jer je maximalno zasluzio,on je ikona ovog sporta.Kad jedan Laurence Shahlei ili Tom Stoltman kaze za Terrija da im je bio idol i da su zbog njega poceli da se bave bas ovim sportom,onda je to velika stvar!Imao sam tu cast da ga 2012 godine upoznam u Novom Sadu na SCL Serbia takmicenju koji je organizovao Ervin Katona i mogu vam reci da je cvrsto stajao na zemlji,uopste nije bio nadmen,ako si ga nesto strpljivo je odgovarao.Meni je samo zao sto se ove godine povukao iz strongman sporta,mada ga u potpunosti razumem.
