aaah...izvinjavam se nisam ni razmisljao o tome ... videh prednji cucanj i setih se momka tog..

Trening Terryja Hollandsa:
Went event training. Decided we would do a kind of strongman Crossfit hybrid which was inspired by a contest being put on by mike Jenkins (USA wsm competitor and 2012 Arnold's winner) it's kind of aimed at the big strong Crossfit guys and the fitter strongmen. This appeals to me quite a lot at the minute as I'm trying to I prove my conditioning.

Since wsm last year because I have been injured I have been aiming more at dropping some excess doing more fitness work and cleaning up my act a bit. It's quite well known in strongman circles I am my own worst enemy sometimes with regard to my lifestyle. I have been a heavy smoker in the past and also like to party a way too much, this all needed to be remedied. I've been pretty much off smoking (had the odd slip up) and only had a couple of nights out in a good few months, I feel like it's finally starting to pay off. I dropped under 26 stone (albeit by 1lb) for the first time in 8 years and feel much better for all the changes I have made. I suffer with VERY bad sleep apnoea and it has been greatly improved recently which has made a big difference to how I feel. I need to find an extra 5% from somewhere and hopefully all the changes to my diet and life will help give me that. I have a few more things I wanna include in my training over the next few weeks, I'm getting some Olympic lifting coaching off a very good coach, gonna get up to genesis in wembley to get some squat coaching off dave 'bulldog' Beattie and also do some extra conditioning work to help me reach my goal of 25 stone by bodypower.

All in all I'm very happy with the progress I'm making and it's nice to be training for fun rather than chasing numbers all the time. I will definitely be back to strongman at some point but it will be when I'm sure I can really commit to it in the way it needs. Strongman is not a sport you can play with or do by halves and I'm lucky to have got as far as I have with my lack of dedication in certain aspects of it, im very lucky to have been blessed with good genetics for it. I have always been someone that trains very hard and am very meticulous when it comes to training my events exactly as they need to be but when it comes to my life away from the gym and contests I don't do everything right. I know that when I return it will be with every base covered not just most of them.
