1. 5 plates + nickel - 229kg/505lbs

4. 8 plates - 347kg/765lbs
I tore a callus on my R index finger, and as it bleed out I started to loose my grip after lockout with the 8 plates.
No big deal, it will be healed up and ready to go come meet day!

955lbs/433kg Raw Squat without wraps from Monday night *PR* in (belt & sleeves). Last heavy Squat session before my meet in 2 weeks on April 16th. Body weight 140kg/308lbs. This is 41lbs above my current All-Time world record @ 308 and 16lbs above the All-Time highest of any weight class without knee wraps.

I've been asked soo many times, "What happened? Why didn't you compete?"
Here's the answer: Execute Plan B!
Plan A was to compete alongside of Eric. We would wrap each other's knees, and set each other up in the rack.
All was going as planed, until the final few minutes before the Pro flight began. I wrapped Eric for his final warm up. Immediately after he had to wrap me for my final warm up. I could tell his last one was a bit slow in comparison to training, and after wrapping me, he was exhausted! We had practiced this system many times in training successfully. However it was very HOT, and this meet was moving along very quickly, and I was 5 out. Eric was at 11. I knew that if Eric wasted energy to wrap my knees, he wouldn't have enough time to recover before his attempt, and it would cost him dearly!
Enter Plan B:
I immediately informed the meet director I was pulling out in an effort to help Eric continue!
This was known from day 1 of our training cycle, that I was there to insure his success. And I would do whatever was necessary to make this happen if called upon to do so! And I did! Just as any Father would do for their son!
