Malo je beskorisno ovako nešto, leg press, pa sa umotanim kolenima itd..ja lično sam radio 500kg 5 ponavljanja na leg press - u kad mi je čučanj bio samo 200kg, tako da to baš i nije nešto previše interesantno, pogotovo za snagaša, kad i bilderi rade sa 400 - 500kg svoje redovne treninge...

razlika izmeĂ°u 500x5 i 900x12 je u samo 8,3 tone :P

Sigurno ima neki dobar razlog zasto ga je radio.

Ja takodje lichno ne volim leg press itd ali da je podigao skoro 1000 kga 12 puta, pfff. Oprao ga je zaista.

Ma znam,nego sve mislim da ima neku povredu pa zato radi leg press.Inace vidim da on umesto redovnog cucnja dosta cesto radi Zercherov cucanj.

Pa kontam da je to najbolja priprema za Konanov krug, ali i dosta drugih strongman disciplina, samo ako ti bicepsi izdrže...

Here’s how Nick Best, 2010 All-American Strongman Challenge champ, preps for competition. Gentlemen, start your hernias!
Day 1: Lower Body
Leg Press
I’ll press anywhere between 1,700 and 2,000 pounds, and try to do one set of 20 to 30 reps.
Scissor Squats
Balance the weight bar between your biceps and forearm, then hold your hands to where your throat is. Squat down until the bar hits your legs, then stand back up. I’ll warm up with 135 pounds for seven reps and gradually increase by 90 pounds until I’m at 600 pounds, and try to get up to four reps.
Rack Pull
With the bar at your knees, pull it up to where you’re in the last position on a dead lift. I’ll do 12 reps at 900 pounds, then 10 at 1,000.
Day 2: Upper Body
Log Clean and Press
To pick up the log, sit it on your legs, tip down a bit, and push out your abs like a ledge you can set it on to pull it into your chest. Then stand up. The log should roll onto your shoulders. From there, stay stable, take a breath, and push it up over your head. I’ll warm up with 190 pounds for five reps and work my way up to three sets of three at 280.
Super Set
I’ll start with a block press and do 15 reps at 190 pounds. Next I’ll do 15 front raises with a 100-pound plate, going all the way up over my head, then down to my legs. Finally, I’ll drop down and do 20 push-ups with the plate on my back, then repeat the whole routine six times.
Day 3: Event Training
Truck Pull
I take a rope and put it around a 100-pound tire, hook it up to my wife’s Chevy Silverado, pop a 250-pound sandbag on top of that, and pull it along the street.
Keg Toss
To get yourself a 16-foot frame like we have in the competitions, buy some PVC pipe at the hardware store. Fill your empty kegs with sand to get them to the right weights: two at 44 pounds, two at 48 pounds, and two at 56 pounds. Then head to a volleyball court, get the pipe upright, and start flinging the kegs as high as you can. Try not to embarrass yourself—people will come over to watch what the hell you’re doing!

Nick Best nam ovde prepricava sta je to po njegovom misljenju

3 nedelje pred tog kobnog takmicenja za njega lagano je povukao 820 funti i dan posle je otisao kod svog Budha majstora gde je pokusao podici neki predmet koji je bio jako tezak,a on ne zagrejan i osetio je prilikom tog pokusaja nesto cudno u latisimusu ali mu nije pridodao veci znacaj.Posle pucanja misica na takmicenju otisao je na operaciju gde su mu zasili misic za kost,tojest vratili na mesto i ceka ga ukupna pauza od 12 nedelja tojest rehabilitacija.Pored laganog treninga u teretani radi i vezbe u vodi koji mu jako puno pomazu i sad vec moze da ispruzi ruku u vis.

Poceo je polako da radi deadlift.Sa 265 funti je radio 2 serije po 10 ponavljanja.Posle je radio cucanj na safety baru i to keca na 520 funti!Posle je presao na noznu pressu gde je radio sa tezinom od 1470 funti x 10 ponavljanja,pa je radio silaz sa 1090 funti x 20 ponavljanja,pa spustio na 890 funti i sa tom tezinom uradio 15 dodatnih ponavljanja.Posle toga je radio zadnju lozu i noznu extenziju.Svake nedelje se oseca sve bolje i bolje.Kaze da mu je bilo extra osecaj raditi mrtvo dizanje opet!!!!

Jako mi je drago za njega da se tako dobro oporavlja.On je 13 nedelja posle operacije podigao 405 funti i to neverovatnih 20 puta u deadliftu.Naravno sigurno je i njemu receno da posle operacije vracanje misica i tetive na mesto neophodno je raditi velika ponavljanja izmedu 10-20 da se tetiva privikne/navikne/ojaca i tek posle moze misic da se opterecuje.Tetivama treba otprilike oko godinu dana da se vrate na skoro staro dok su misici vec posle 6 meseci adekvatnim treningom mogu vratiti u staru formu.To vam kazem sto su lekari meni rekli i iz licnog iskustva! ;)

Radi mrtvo dizanje sa 425 funti x 20 ponavljanja bez gurtni,sa hook gripom.Taj hvat koriste dizaci tegova.Nick planira da polako ali sigurno stigne do 500 funti x 20 ponavljanja i cim u tome uspe posle cemo moci videti i vece tezine.Ista procedura je bila i kod mene samo sam ja radio desetke.

405lb Benc Press! Nastavite da radite po planu da bi postigli svoje ciljeve.Moj dugogodisnji plan je da uradim benc od 500 funti u 2022 godini.Sledeci kratkorocni plan mi je da bencujem sa 425 funti do 28.-og decembra.

Nik je ":rasturio" mrtvo dizanje od 700 funti (317,5 kilograma) sa visine od 13 inča u osam ponavljanja.Nik Best je koristio odelo za mrtvo dizanje, pojas za podizanje i gurtne za podizanje da bi izveo ovaj set. Takođe je koristio dve manje kutije kako bi podigao šipku na 13 inča.Nik se priprema za Clash Of The Masters Invitational 2022. Ovo takmičenje će se održati 23. jula 2022. godine u Kolumbiji.
To je izvrsna vest sa obzirom da je pre par meseci bio operisan bas zbog toga sto mu je pukao latissimus i to na deadliftu.Svaka cast Niku!

Evo zasto nama starijima i sa povredama zasto traje tako dugo treninzi jer nam vise od pola treninga prode na zagrevanje i istezanje samo da bi postigli zeljenu radnu temperauru. ;D
