10.05.2009. u Crvenki odrzace se Kup Srbije u fitnessu,bodybuildingu i strongmanu!!!
Organizatori su:Grad Crvenka,"Beo-gym" i Strongman Savez Srbije

16.-og i 17.-og maja odrzace se Strongman Champions League u Finskoj.Takmicenje ce se odrzati pored jednog soping centra u gradu Lempalaa,sto je udaljeno od Helsinkija 160km.Takmicenje ce trajati 2 dana i bice 8 disciplina.
U glavnom gradu Slovacke,Bratislavi 6.-og juna ce se odrzati Champions League takmicenje u strongmanu.14 najbolje rankiranih takmicara ce se takmiciti na ovom takmicenju.Po najavi organizatora totalni fond za takmicare ce biti 20000$!
Istog dana(6. jun) ali u Norveskoj odrzace se strongman takmicenje pod nazivom:Viking Power Challenge,sto je nadimak jednog od najboljih takmicara Svenda Karlsena(naravno bez onog Challenge! ).

ja cu ici da gledam, najverovatnije, ide neka ekipa iz teretane pa cu i ja...

cuo sam da katona organizuje 10. maja takmicenje, jedni ako se ne odlozi!

cuo sam da ce biti takmicenje za strongmena u subotici u maju, ne znam koliko je to sigurno...

Za strongman sumnjam ali ce 25-og Aprila biti powerlifting drzavno.

"He’s got five victories at the MET-Rx World’s Strongest Man contest and is easily the most successful athlete in the sport both on and off the field, but don’t think Polish strongman star Mariusz Pudzianowski is hanging up his harness just yet - he told IronMind that he wants to win the 2009 World’s Strongest Man contest . . . and there’s more to the story.

Backing up a bit, the state of Mariusz Pudzianowski’s calf and knee was the subject of much speculation going into the 2008 MET-Rx World’s Strongest Man contest (how bad was the injury? did Mariusz have surgery? was this going to halt his march toward a record fifth World’s Strongest Man title?), so what does Mariusz have to say on the subject?

The injury, Mariusz told IronMind, was from a strongman contest in Poland, which he said, “I just try to cure. Now, since WSM, I have free time . . . only for rest and relax[ation]. I didn’t make the operation and I think I will try to take more care of my calf and my knee. I need more rest and good medical care.”

“I think that one or two months free without any strong effort or load is good for my injury rehabilitation,” Mariusz continued, saying that he would resume training tomorrow (January 1, 2009), but he noted, “I will start my training very slowly.”

And this training of which Mariusz Pudzianowski speaks is motivated by a clear image of who he is and what he does: “I will be back to strongman game. You know that my job is to be a strongman. I like it and I will try to do what is the best. I will hope for next WSM title in 2009.”
